Course Area

The first step to building any course is defining the course area. The area should be centered to your course and contain the entire course within it’s bounds.

Real World

For a course that uses real world terrain:

  1. Select the OpenStreetMap layer of your map from the top-right corner.
  2. Find and zoom to the course area you want to capture on the map.
  3. Click the filter_center_focus button, or hold shift while clicking the map to set the center of your capture area to the center of the course.
  4. Optionally, switch the map layer to a satellite view to double check your course is contained in the capture area.
  5. Adjust the Course Size (in kilometers) so the square contains your full course in the capture area.

Generate

For a fictional course where you want to sculpt the terrain from scratch, or just use a flat terrain, select the Generate tab:

  1. Define your Course Size (in kilometers)
